My friend Julie makes the best ham balls--- let's see if I remember the recipe correctly---

1 pound of ground pork
1 pound of ground ham (available at Hy Vee)
1 egg
1 sleeve of saltines

Mix and roll into small balls. Spread on a cookie sheet and put in 400 deg oven. Turn them over until all sides are brown. Put in a crock pot with a sauce made of cider vinegar and brown sugar.

I'm not really into exact measurements, so I'm sorry I can't be more specific.
