wings rule
beerorkid | December 20, 2009I do not make wings at home very often, but I learned a great way to make them. Some would say this is the same as a local wing staple of Lincoln. Hrmmm…
fry them till golden brown in 350 degree oil
I let them rest and drain on a rack for a bit
butter, cayenne, and Franks hot sauce
Into a skillet to grill them
Absolutely amazing and the burps are awesome. I made them for breftest the next day as well. yum

Nice shots! Like you, I love good wings, and I
Mr. T | January 9, 2010Nice shots! Like you, I love good wings, and I DO make them at home all the time, using smart chicken wings. I have found that pan frying without oil works well, since there is enough fat already to fry them nicely. But I have to say, I almost prefer to bake them, because the juice runs out to the bottom of the pan and mixes nicely with the hot sauce.
Alton brown steams them to get some of the fat
beerorkid | January 9, 2010Alton brown steams them to get some of the fat off then bakes ro a crisp. I will try that next time because frying them is pretty greasy and messy.
